Renovation of a mixed-use development in Saint Cloud, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

The purpose is to solicit competitive sealed bids for Harmony High School Sports Lighting Replacement on the Baseball and Softball Fields. The contractor shall supply LED lighting equipment to meet or exceed specified performance and design standards for both fields. Lighting levels must be guaranteed not to drop below target values for a period of 10 years. The lighting system should also incorporate environmental light and glare control, be energy-efficient, and comparable to specified fixture types. The contractor is responsible for securing necessary permits. The contractor shall disconnect and remove existing light fixtures, replace crossarms, and install new fixtures, all necessary electrical components, and ensure proper grounding and lightning protection. All system components must be UL listed. The contractor must provide a 10-year warranty and be a Certified Electrical Contractor licensed in Florida. All labor, tools, equipment, transportation, utilities, and materials must be provided as part of a total turnkey project. All work must be coordinated and supervised to meet the School Board's requirements, with field conditions and exact measurements verified by the bidder prior to submitting a firm price. Installation includes all materials and equipment necessary for a complete and operational system, with site and facility restoration as needed. Field testing and quality control are required to ensure compliance with maintained light levels and uniformities for the warranty period. Debris removal, site protection, and clean-up are required. Installation work must cause minimal disruption to school activities. Bidders are evaluated on their responsiveness and responsibility, including submission of required documentation, references, relevant experience, financial stability, insurance, compliance with SBE/VBE goals, and technical specifications. Performance and payment bonds may be required depending on project cost. Submittal requirements include specific forms, certifications, references, litigation and financial history, insurance, business tax receipts, and proof of licensing and compliance with participation goals.
