As of July 24 2026, project was awarded to Galusha & Sons LLC., awarded amount is $590,227.25 Description of Work: Project Scope Includes the Installation of Granite Curbing, Sidewalk Replacement, Ada Compliant Curb Ramps, Street Lighting, Street Pavement Milling and Resurfacing, Pavement Markings, Signage, Street Tree Planting, Drainage Improvements and Other Streetscape Amenities. The Successful Bidder Will Furnish All Materials, Labor & Equipment to Complete Work in Accordance With the Contract Specifications. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Non-collusion Certification and a Bid Security of Not Less Than Five Percent (5%) of the Bid Amount. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish Performance, Payment and Guarantee Bonds From an Acceptable Surety Company for an Amount Not Less Than 100% of the Accepted Bid. Bidders Are Required to Comply With the Prevailing Wage Rates as Prescribed by the Laws of the State of New York. Wage Rates Are Included in the Project Manual as Required by New York State Law for the Convenience of the Bidders. Bidders Shall Confirm the Rates Prior to the Bid and Assemble Bid Prices Accordingly. The City of Glens Falls Reserves the Right to Consider the Bids for Forty-five (45) Days After Receipt Before Awarding Any Contract, and to Waive Any Informalities in, and to Reject, Any and All Bids or to Accept the One That in Its Judgment Will Be for the Best Interest of the City. All Bids Are Subject to Final Review and Approval by the City of Glens Falls City Engineer Before Any Award of Contract May Be Made.
