The Vendor shall furnish and supply all materials, components, and hardware necessary for the construction of approximately 350 linear feet of 8-foot-high commercial grade galvanized chain link fencing, including two gates, as specified. Installation of the fence system will be performed by the College. This agreement is strictly for the supply of materials. No labor, installation services, equipment, or supervision by the Vendor is included or implied unless otherwise agreed to in writing. Materials to be supplied shall include: 9-gauge, 8-foot-high galvanized chain link fabric (350 linear feet); Schedule 40 steel line posts (approx. 34, spaced at 10-foot intervals); 2-3/8" diameter x 10.5' length Schedule 40 steel end/termination posts; 4" O.D. x 12' length gate posts (for the 12' swing gate); 1-5/8" top rail (350 linear feet); 350 linear feet bottom tension wire; six tension bars for 8' fence; tension bands sized for 2-3/8" and 4" posts; aluminum fence ties; hog rings for bottom tension wire; sufficient carriage bolts for fence and gates; rail ends, post caps and line post tops as required; gate hardware (hinges, latch assemblies, compatible with specified posts); all required nuts, bolts, fasteners, and hardware to complete a fully functional fence system. All materials must be new, unused, and commercially standard grade, compatible and suitable for an 8-foot-high galvanized chain link system. Vendor must supply all materials necessary to complete the specified fence length and gate installations. Quotes must comply with specifications. Multiple or alternate quotes will not be accepted; only the primary bid will be considered. All materials must be delivered as soon as possible. No additional charges will be allowed after the bid is awarded.
