Site work and new construction of a multi-residential development in Concord, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for the construction of a eight-unit multi-residential development.

The project includes the construction of eight townhome units within one building at Parmenter Place in Concord, New Hampshire. All work under this contract must comply with applicable laws and prohibitions, including no use of lead-based paints, asbestos-containing products, or CFC-containing products. The General Contractor is to provide all labor and materials necessary to complete the project. Proposals must be accompanied by a satisfactory bid guarantee for 5% of the proposal amount if the bid is greater than $100,000. The selected contractor will be required to furnish a 100% Contract Performance Bond and a 100% Contract Payment Bond for contracts greater than $100,000. Insurance requirements include worker's compensation, fire and extended coverage, comprehensive liability, automobile liability, and others as specified. All work must be completed as scheduled and in compliance with the submitted and approved progress schedule. Instructions to bidders include submitting sealed, original, signed proposals in clearly marked envelopes. Bidders must use the forms provided by the Owner, complete all required documents, and submit a HUD-5369-A form. Proposals are to be submitted on the forms provided. All bid documents must be sealed and clearly marked with the project and bidder's information. Minority and Women's Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals or sub-contract for the project. Requests for approval to use unspecified products must be made at least ten days before the bid date. Any substitutions of materials after bid opening require a contract change order. Prospective bidders may request a site inspection. Subcontractors are responsible for reviewing the full plans and specifications. The Owner reserves the right to waive formalities, reject any or all proposals, or accept any proposal. Only responsible bidders with the ability to perform successfully under the contract will be considered. All bids must meet submittal deadlines; late submissions will not be accepted. Bidders may withdraw proposals under specified conditions. A performance and payment bond is required as a security for the faithful performance of the contract and payment of all labor and materials. No member, officer, or employee of the local authority or their immediate family during their tenure or for one year thereafter may have any interest in the contract or its proceeds. For product substitutions, submit a written request with supporting data and samples at least ten days before bid opening; approval will be issued as an addendum to all bidders on record. Prospective bidders must ensure their bid includes all necessary statements, forms, and certifications as required. All bidders are responsible for thorough review of specifications, drawings, and instructions. Failure to comply with instructions or requirements may result in the rejection of the bid. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
