As of May 08, 2026, the project was awarded to T & S Intermodal Maintenance Inc., DBA T & S West, with an awarded amount of $2,464,071.40. The project consists of kitchen modernization work at the following five sites: Manlio Silva Elementary School, Christa McAuliffe Middle School, Julia Morgan Elementary School, Westwood Elementary School, and George Lincoln Mosher Elementary School. The work at each site may include replacing designated kitchen equipment, removing existing kitchen flooring and installing new commercial kitchen flooring with integral cove base, installing slip-resistant tile flooring over existing concrete slabs, furnishing and installing new serving lines, providing associated utility and finish modifications, installing floor sinks for drainage, conducting FRP wall repairs as required, performing minor painting, and making plumbing, electrical, and mechanical modifications. The scope of work also includes selective demolition, furnishing and installation of new NSF-approved kitchen equipment, sealing and finishing, start-up, testing, cleanup, and coordination with District operations. Work generally includes selective demolition, new commercial kitchen flooring, FRP wall repairs as required, minor painting, furnishing and installation of new NSFapproved kitchen equipment, plumbing, electrical and mechanical modifications, sealing and finishing, start-up, testing, cleanup, and coordination with District operations. All work shall comply with applicable codes and District standards and includes a one-year warranty on labor and installation.
