The project scope is to provide supervision, labor, transportation, material, equipment, and tools to mechanically and hydro-clean aerator structures, floors, media, and dosing assemblies of biological films, flock, and aquatic plant growth in strict accordance as outlined in the Contract Documents and Specifications. All sealed bids, Bidder's Qualifications, Bid Bond, and completed Bid Envelope, in duplicate, are required. All bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by Title 62, Chapter 6, of the Tennessee Code Annotated, and must complete the outside of the preprinted Bidder's Envelope with the Bidder's license number, expiration date, and relevant classification. Electronic submissions are not accepted; only hard copies of the bidding documents will be accepted. Bidders must submit their bids to the Contracts Management Office no later than the specified date and time. The Bidder's Qualifications must include a reference letter and should indicate the contract number and project title on the front page and on the outside of the Bid Envelope. A Performance Bond and a Contractor's Labor and Materials Payment Bond are required before execution of the contract. All contract bonds must be through a surety company authorized to do business in Tennessee. If the bid amount is under $25,000, "Exempt from licensing requirement" must appear in the license number space on the bid envelope, but other information must still be completed. Only hard copy submissions will be accepted, and bids may not be withdrawn for a period of 120 days after opening. MLGW reserves the right to reject bids, waive irregularities, or accept any bid or portion deemed most favorable.
