Blind Bay road is located beside the entrance of Killbear Provincial Park at the end of Hwy 559. Blind Bay road has 2.8 km in length before transitioning to a private road for the remainder of the road. The project involves transitioning the Township portion of the road (from Hwy 559 to the boat launch) from a gravel surface to a hard surface of Low Class Bituminous (LCB, also known as Tar and Chip). The application consists of 150mm of 2" minus gravel, application of 150mm 7/8A Granite Gravel, grading and shaping, with a double overlay of LCB (Tar & Chip).
