Scope of work includes construction of water, sanitary, drainage, and paving facilities for Firefly Municipal Utility District No. 2 of Montgomery County, Texas, in Prosper at Firefly Section 2. Bidders must submit sealed electronic bids in compliance with the Owner's Order Adopting Section 49.2731 Electronic Bidding Rules, and all bids and bid securities must be submitted through www.CivcastUSA.com. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashiers check in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total bid. The successful bidder must execute contract documents, provide required insurance certificates, and deliver bonds within seven days after receiving contract documents. The original certified or cashiers check, if applicable, must be delivered within one business day of the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive defects and irregularities in the bidding process except for the time of bid submission. The responsible bidder, judged most advantageous to the district, will be awarded the contract. Contract documents may be accepted and executed using an electronic signature in accordance with the Owner's rules for construction contracts.
