A bid bond of 5 percent of the bid, issued by an acceptable surety, or a certified check, bank draft, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) payable to the City of Bruceville-Eddy must be submitted with each bid. Bidders are expected to inspect the project site and inform themselves of all local conditions before submitting bids. The project is financed through the Texas Department of Agriculture under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws, including Davis-Bacon prevailing wage rates.
