Sealed bids will be received for the construction of the Copperdale Trail Extension for West Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 9, Project No. 78029-20-60 (H). Bids may be submitted electronically via the CivCast USA website or as a paper copy in duplicate delivered to the Engineer's office. The construction will be performed in accordance with plans, specifications, and any issued addenda. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified or Cashier's Check or a Bid Bond, equal to two percent (2%) of the total bid amount, payable to the Owner. For electronic submissions, a scanned electronic copy of the check or bond must be included, and if the Contractor is one of the three low bidders, the original must be delivered to the Engineer's office by 5:00 p.m. on the day of bid opening. The successful bidder must provide, within seven (7) calendar days of being notified that the Contract Documents are available, a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract price. The bonds must be from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Texas and meeting specified rating and eligibility criteria.
