Renovation of a swimming pool in New Port Richey, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,000-square-foot swimming pool; and 2,500-square-foot swimming pool.
The work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, transportation, services, and incidentals necessary for the resurfacing and re-tiling of the Plunge and Dive Pools at the Recreation and Aquatic Center located at 6630 Van Buren St., New Port Richey, FL 34653. The scope includes but is not limited to: draining the pools and disposing of the water per environmental regulations, inspecting the pool structure and shell, providing dewatering as required, removing and disposing of the existing surface and tiles, mechanically preparing and resurfacing the pool interior with Diamond Brite Exposed Aggregate Pool Finish or approved equivalent, replacing all existing pool tiles and wall cup anchors including depth markers and lane markers, installing all new VGB Act-compliant main drain frames and grates, removing and replacing approximately 1,500 linear feet of self-leveling adhesive at concrete expansion joints, removing and replacing four bronze anchor sockets in the concrete pool deck at the Plunge Pool, cleaning, curing, and filling the pool, and balancing water chemistry for startup. Work must be in accordance with construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents. The contractor is responsible for verifying all dimensions, quantities, and conditions. Sealed proposals must be submitted in triplicate on prescribed proposal forms, accompanied by bid security of not less than 5 percent of the base bid amount, and include one electronic copy on a USB flash drive. The outside of the envelope must be clearly marked with the bidder's name, address, and project name. Bids received after the specified deadline will not be considered. All work must comply with the instructions provided.
