The project consists of the reconstruction of sidewalks, brick work, granite planters, site amenities, street lighting, and electrical service on Avenue A between 5th Street and 4th Street on the northwest side of the street. Bids shall be filed in a sealed envelope, bearing the title BID#2026.01 - Avenue A Streetscape Improvements Project - Phase 5.1 per specifications, and delivered to Montague Town Hall, Selectboard's Office, 1 Avenue A, Turners Falls, MA 01376. General bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five percent of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates) and made payable to the Town of Montague. The Town reserves the right to reject all proposals. Description of Work: The scope of the project includes full replacement of 3671 sq. ft. of brick sidewalks, replacement of integrated sidewalk planters, and installation of one handicap accessible ramp to a mixed-use building.
