Site work and paving for a road / highway in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for citywide mill and overlay work on main roadways. Bidders must ensure timely delivery of their sealed proposals, either by dropping them off in person or mailing them to Room 502 at City Hall, Buffalo, NY. Proposals must be properly labeled and submitted before the specified bid opening time. Instructions detail that proposals can be viewed and obtained through Avalon Document Services for a specified fee. Addenda will be emailed to those on the official Plan Holders List and must be acknowledged by securely stapling them within the proposal book. Bidders must follow all submission protocols and certify compliance with the General Municipal Law for non-collusion. Contractors and subcontractors are required to be registered with the New York State Department of Labor and must submit proof of registration with their bids. Prior to contract award, bidders must submit statements of intention to work toward specified minority and women workforce and enterprise utilization goals. Questions about contract documents must be directed to the designated contact, and any issues with the documents should be reported promptly. No inquiries will be accepted within three business days before the bid opening.
