Site work for a civil project in Roberta, Georgia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Roberta is requesting statements of qualifications from engineering firms interested in undertaking design and construction management of water and/or sewer improvements to be funded in part through the FY 2027 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and other grant programs. Interested parties must submit their response to Cammi Sanchez at the address provided. Proposals received after the specified date and time or at any other location will not be considered. This is a Section 3 contract opportunity under the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, encouraging Section 3 Residents and Business Concerns to apply. Employment and economic opportunities generated by CDBG funds should, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed toward low and very low-income persons and business concerns that provide economic opportunities to them. The project must further fair housing, requiring steps to analyze and overcome impediments to fair housing choice, and ensure no qualified individual with a disability is excluded or discriminated against. The City of Roberta reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and is an equal opportunity employer. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
