For the roof replacement at new bedford's campbell-hathaway-pacheco schools in new bedford, massachusetts. Documents were prepared by habeeb & associates. The general contractor must be dcamm certified. The project consist of masonry, roofing and flashing, acoustical tile, elevator, plumbing, and electrical work. Sub Bid Category : Masonry; Roofing and Flashing; Acoustical Tile; Elevators; Plumbing; Electrical. General bids and sub-bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (including all alternates), and made payable to the CITY OF NEW BEDFORD. Note: A bid deposit is not required for Projects advertised under $50,000. The Contractor and all subcontractors (collectively referred to as "the Contractor") agree to strive to achieve minority and women workforce participation. The Workforce Participation benchmark is set at 6.9% for women and 15.3% for minorities. The Workforce benchmark percentages are a statutory requirement under MGL c. 149 44A(2)(G). The Project consists of but not limited to: The project work consists of removal and installation of a new roof assembly at the following schools Campbell Elementary School, 145 Essex Street Ellen R. Hathaway Elementary School, 256 Court Street Pacheco Elementary School, 261 Mount Pleasant Street MSBA Project #202402010020 (Campbell) MSBA Project #202402010075 (Hathaway) MSBA Project #202402010105 (Pacheco) 2506.03 The scope of work, without limiting the generality thereof, includes all labor, materials, equipment and services required to perform the work described fully in the Drawings and Specifications and includes, but is not limited to the following major work: 1. Replacement of roof assembly and accessibility improvements include, but are not limited to: a. Carpentry, waterproofing, dampproofing, caulking. b. Roofing. c. Installation of new roof access hatches and ladders. d. Isolated masonry repairs (Alternate 1). e. Ballasted railings. f. Augmenting structural framing to support solar panels. g. Replacement of ceilings and lighting. h. Installation of a new wheelchair lift, related framing modifications, guardrail and handrail modifications and exterior improvements. i. Creation of a new accessible toilet room. j.
