Project scope includes the demolition of the existing canopy system at the school entry and replacing it with a new covered entry and associated canopies to the cafeteria and staff parking. Demolition and site improvements in the courtyard include concrete paving, seating areas, miscellaneous drainage, and installation of new canopies. Site paving improvements are to be made in the student and staff parking area and throughout the high school campus. Bid documents for a Stipulated Sum contract are accessible from the plan room website of the Architect upon receipt of a non-refundable deposit. Bidders must provide bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified check for a sum no less than 5 percent of the bid amount. Bidding requirements are further detailed in referenced documents. Offers must be submitted on the provided bid form and may be supplemented as appropriate. Bids delivered by mail or hand must be in a sealed envelope marked with the project name and must be received at the specified address by the deadline. Do not deliver bids to the project or Architect's address. Electronic bid submission is accepted, and must include a title page with necessary information. Bids in excess of $50,000.00 must display the contractor's Mississippi certificate of responsibility number and proof of license. Non-resident contractors must include their state's relevant laws or a statement if none exist. Offers must remain irrevocable for 60 days after submission.
