Reference Number 0000415174 The project consists of site improvements at Grogan Elementary School, located at 13300 Burns Street, Southgate, Michigan, for Southgate Community Schools. The scope of work generally includes selective demolition and reconstruction of existing site features, earthwork, grading, and paving to support reconfigured parking and circulation areas. Work includes removal of existing asphalt, concrete pavement, curb and gutter, sidewalks, fencing, utilities, and select trees as shown on the demolition plans, followed by construction of new asphalt and concrete pavements, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, accessible ramps, striping, signage, and associated site features. All scope of work is referenced in document A.2 Grogan Elementary Bid Drawings dated 02-10- 2026. Work is expected to commence on June 15th, 2026 following the end of the school season, and be completed no later than August 21st, 2026. Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % Question Deadline 03/11/2026 at 3:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online No Owner reserves the right to reject any proposal with or without cause, to not award a contract, or to award one or more contracts. Owner further reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in this RFP process or any proposal. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject, without consideration, any proposal which arrives late. Owner reserves the right to request additional information from any or all firms. In addition, notice is hereby given of the possibility that award may be made without discussion of the proposal.
