Remodeling of a medical facility in Smithville, Tennessee. Working plans call for the remodel of a medical facility.
*As of March 10, 2026 this project has been cancelled and no plan rebidding at this time* Proposals are requested to furnish and install an Access Control System for 12 doors at the DeKalb County Health Department. Each door requires a key tag/fob reader to activate the electric door strike. The administrative reception area needs wireless transmitter buttons to selectively release doors 102A and 106A. A CDVI web-based system is suggested, but systems with similar technical specifications may be considered. Electric door strikes will be furnished and installed by the General Contractor. The bidder must wire the electric door strikes and install boxes or raceway for the card readers. Door controllers can be placed in the electrical or IT room, and plenum cabling must be run concealed above the suspended ceiling. Penetrations must be sleeved and fire caulked. A wireless 2-channel receiver is to be installed near the ceiling in the administrative reception area, and 8 two-button transmitters are required. The bid must include 100 key tags or key fobs. Bids should be mailed or hand delivered in a sealed envelope and referred to as "Bid." DeKalb County Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Non-Discrimination policy applies.
