Project has been rebid The project consists of construction of a new concessions and restroom building and associated work. Bids will be based on a single lump sum general construction contract and must include not less than the prevailing hourly wage rate determined by the Illinois Department of Labor. Bid Security is required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Proposal, made payable unconditionally to the Owner. Security shall be certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond issued by a surety licensed to conduct business in the State of Illinois. Within ten days after notification of award of contract, the successful Contractor shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder using a form similar to the AIA 312 Form, or one acceptable to the Owner. The Performance Bond will become a part of the Contract. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities and irregularities in any bid, or to make awards in the best interests of the Owner.
