Wilson County Board of Education is requesting sealed bids from qualified vendors for BID 2026-08 Gym Floor at Green Hill High School. All sealed bids must be submitted by the specified deadline and will be opened and read aloud before interested parties at the indicated location. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any portion of any bid, or to accept any bid other than the bid with the lowest cost meeting specifications. Gym floor is to be composed of hardwood maple athletic flooring. _ Approximately 570 square feet of the existing hardwood flooring is damaged. The damaged f looring is to be removed and replaced with a matching 2 1/4" x 25/32" 2nd grade maple. _ Entire floor is to be sanded to bare wood. _ Entire floor is to be screened to remove all drum sander marks. _ Entire floor is to be cleaned before applying sealer. _ A minimum of two coats of sealer is required for the entire floor prior to paining. _ All lines must be painted to include the following: 1. Main Basketball Games Lines 2. Main Volleyball Game Lines 3. Two Cross Court Basketball Game Lines 4. Boarder 5. Lanes 6. Multi Colored Center Logo 7. End Court Lettering "Green Hill" _ A minimum of three coats of water-based finish is required for the entire floor. _ All colors and logos are to be discussed with Wilson County Schools upon award of bid before work begins.
