This section does not limit the scope of work required to complete the project. It aims only to summarize all the important elements to be considered for the preparation of the submission of the Contractor and the Subcontractors. 2. The purpose of this contract is to carry out the complete work for the transformations and constructions illustrated to the documents and according to the specifications they contain. The complete scope of the work is detailed on the plans and specifications of all disciplines; the documents from the different disciplines must absolutely to be considered as a coherent whole. 3. The work includes all transportation of all material, equipment and workers necessary for the renovation of the building, from the source of production of materials to the construction site in Salluit, at the Nunavik. 4. The works include the supply in sufficient quantity of all required materials and equipment as well as workers necessary for the completion of the work. This is valid for all elements, up to the fixation screw. A member cannot be used for any other purpose than that for which it is prescribed. 5. The work includes the creation of storage spaces for materials, insulated and heated, in quantity sufficient to house all the materials requiring temporary protection until their integration into the work. The required temperatures must comply with the manufacturers' recommendations without ever be less than twenty (20) degrees Celsius. 6. The works include the supply of all required packaging for all materials and equipment, depending on the packaging standards of the selected shipping company. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ensure compliance with these with the various suppliers and Subcontractors. 7. The work includes checking the packaging of all elements and equipment to be loaded on the successive ships, in order to ensure that they are not damaged during the voyage by shocks or salt air. 8. The work includes all services required for the completion of the work, whether temporary or permanent. These, without limitation, include water, electricity, telephone and the facilities of telecommunications for the construction team.9. The Contractor must plan his own offices. These workspaces must be equipped with a network internet powerful enough to allow frequent communications between stakeholders. A printer standard as well as a plan printer must be planned. 10. The work includes, if necessary, all the site installations required in order to preserve the surroundings from the secure site, regardless of the time of year or the temperature. Provide protection elements high enough so that they are not entirely covered with snow; if these end up buried, they must be cleared by the Contractor in order to remain visible and effective at all times. 11. The work includes regular cleaning of the construction site, as well as its surroundings. The waste container(s) must be regularly transported to the village dump. 12. The Contractor must provide the Owner of the establishments with a complete work. It is his responsibility to provide the Subcontractors with all the necessary information for the completion of all the work, and this, for all disciplines. 13. Certain works or materials may be described in the drawings without necessarily being the subject of a quote section or be specifically described in a quote section. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to decide who will supply these materials and who will perform this work. 14. The successful bidder in this call for tenders must take into account the schedule indicated to the submission documents. He is required to meet the deadlines determined in this document. The Contractor must plan the teams and work schedules in order to meet the identified deadlines. All delay must motivate the implementation of an action plan in order to correct the situation. 15. The northern context in which the work will take place involves logistical planning and monitoring important that must be included in this submission. The different steps include notably the transport to Salluit of the equipment and material by boat, the transport of the entire staff of the Contractor and its subcontractors, their accommodation and subsistence. In its submission, the Contractor must also plan and consider the required infrastructure in order to adjust to availability in the village of Salluit. The regular supply of the construction site with food, fuel, room and various supplies, is under the responsibility and at the expense of the Contractor, who will however be invited to examine local possibilities. 16. Climate risk management on construction activities is the responsibility of the Contractor and its subcontractors. The project owner and/or its Professionals are however authorized to require the Contractor that he improves the temporary protections during the work if the situation and the quality of the work require it. Good practices in northern environments must be applied. 17. The project owner and/or its Professionals may at any time require prior sampling of the work before its overall execution, in order to ensure its quality. 18. The partial possession with reservation must be carried out before the start of the installation of equipments
