**As of April 29th, 2026, the project was awarded to McNamara Contracting, Inc with an awarded amount of $7,137,188.45** Furnishing all labor, materials, and all else necessary for City Project 2026-106, Apple Valley Additions Street and Utility Improvements Phase 2, including but not limited to tree clearing and grubbing, removal and installation of sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, curb and gutter, concrete walk, driveway, valley gutter, bituminous street, driveway and trail pavement, excavation, aggregate base, bituminous mixture, sod, topsoil/compost, and related items. Also included is City Project 2026-107, Apple Valley Additions Stormwater Improvements, comprising tree clearing, removal and construction of curb, gutter, walk, driveway, pavement, stormwater basins, excavation, soil borrow, bituminous mixture for trails and courts, striping, concrete walks, curbing, storm sewer structures, draintile, seeding, plantings, fencing, seating walls, benches, hoop systems, netting systems, natural wood play elements, fieldstones, limestone blocks, and aggregate walking trails, along with related items. Bids are to be submitted electronically online only through Quest CDN. Electronic bid bonds must be submitted through Surety 2000 in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Apple Valley. The Owner reserves the right to retain deposits of the 3 lowest bidders for up to 60 days and to reject any and all bids or waive irregularities. The successful bidder must be a "responsible contractor" as defined in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, and verification of compliance is required for all prime contractors, subcontractors, and motor carriers. The project is subject to Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry Prevailing Wage and Truck Rental Rates. No bids may be withdrawn for 30 days after the bid opening.
