Renovation of a military facility in Medford, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 18,000-square-foot military facility.

In general, the work consists of removing approximately 18,000 square feet of the shingled roof, felt paper barrier (or similar material), all flashing, and heat tracing. Replacement includes a new 40-year, impact resistant architectural asphalt shingle roof system, replacement of worn or water-soaked underlayment, installation of a new felt vapor barrier, underlayment as needed, two layers of ice dam preventer, flashing, and facia. The project includes removing approximately 100 linear feet of existing gutter and associated downspout, furnishing and installing approximately 500 linear feet of new gutter and approximately 300 linear feet of downspout with poured-in-place concrete splash blocks. These splash blocks should extend from the building to the curb on the easternmost side and a minimum of 3 feet from the remainder (western side) of the downspout outlets. Also included is the furnishing and installation of new heat tracing over the front entrance as a minimum. Base Bid is for a single lump sum for all work.
