The project is to mill and overlay approximately 11 miles of 6" asphalt including drainage improvements This project consists of the pavement rehabilitation of approximately 30,500 linear feet of asphalt streets, including flexible pavement structure repairs and the proposed Chayenne Loop road design. The project scope also includes drainage repair and culvert replacements inside the Lake Conroe Forest Subdivision. The City of Conroe will receive Competitive Sealed Proposals electronically for the Street Rehab - Lake Conroe Forest Phase II project located in Montgomery County, Texas. Proposals must be marked "Street Rehab - Lake Conroe Forest Phase II" and submitted through the specified online portal. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check from a responsible Texas bank or a bid bond from a surety company authorized in Texas for 10% of the bid amount. The successful proposer must furnish both a performance bond and a payment bond on provided forms, each for 100% of the contract price, from a surety approved by the Federal Government. Specifications and proposal documents are available for review and download online. Questions regarding the bid must be submitted through the online portal. No proposal may qualify, modify, substitute or change any part of the specifications or contract documents. The City may enter into a contract with the offeror submitting the best value proposal, considering selection criteria and weighted value.
