No definite date for rebid** The scope of this project consists primarily of the removal and installation of roadway striping and markings at various locations throughout the City. Work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing striping and pavement markings, installation of new thermoplastic striping, crosswalks, stop bars, arrows, legends, and other traffic control markings as required. Bidders should inspect the site and be knowledgeable of all local conditions. Time of completion shall be as stated by bidder on the bid form, including weekends and holidays. All bids must be plainly marked with the project name and bid number. No faxed bids will be accepted. Bidders must register to view or download these documents. There is no charge for this. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified or cashier's check acceptable to the owner in the amount of not less than five percent of the total amount bid. The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond, each in the amount of the contract, and a maintenance bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price from a surety company licensed by the State of Texas. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled opening for at least ninety calendar days. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive formalities, and award the bid to the lowest responsive and most qualified bidder.
