Site work and paving for a road / highway in Buckeye, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project involves the installation of seven concrete chicanes along Acacia Way, from Thayer Street to just south of Thomas Road. Work includes demolition and removal of existing asphalt, followed by construction of the chicanes, pavement striping, and installation of appropriate signage. All improvements will be implemented generally in accordance with the conceptual design prepared by Stantec in March 2024. These improvements support the City's broader efforts to maintain safe, livable neighborhoods through context-sensitive traffic management. The scope does not include any design, utility relocations, or underground infrastructure improvements. The project is included in the City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of March 05, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
