Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Prescott, Arizona. Completed plans call for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.

The City of Prescott is seeking a qualified construction manager/general contractor to provide design phase assistance and construction services as the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for (3) three fire stations for the Prescott Fire Department. The City of Prescott's Fire Department intends to construct (3) three new fire stations. The addition of the new fire stations will help to achieve a reduction in response times through optimally located resources and help meet the growth in the city of Prescott. The new fire stations are a critical component of the City's public safety service improvements prioritized by both City Council and residents and funded through a dedicated, voter-approved Proposition 478 special sales tax. All new fire stations will be constructed on City-owned properties. Station 76 will be located at 1600 Sundog Ranch Road, at the northwest corner of Prescott Lakes Parkway and the Sundog Ranch Connector. Station 73 will be located on the west side of State Route 89 near the Phippen roundabout and the Constellation Trailhead parking area, on a parcel recently acquired by the City. Station 72 is located at 530 6th Street. A common base design will be utilized at (2) two station locations, stations 76 and 73, to maintain consistency between facilities and provide long-term benefits, including easier maintenance and improved operational efficiency. The approach also intends to address rising construction costs and enhance project efficiency. The current programming goal for each station is 14,000 square feet that includes the apparatus bays. Station 72 is an existing fire station. The current structure was constructed in the late 1970s for use as a Central Arizona Fire and Medical Authority (CAFMA) vehicle maintenance shop and was repurposed into the current fire station in the 1990s. A comprehensive feasibility study was conducted to evaluate the building's condition, functionality, and compliance with current standards. The study determined that the facility is not suitable for renovation and recommend it for reconstruction. Question Submission Deadline: February 24, 2026, 5:00pm The City of Prescott reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submittals, and waive any minor informality or irregularity deemed in the best interest of the City and to reject the submittals of any persons who have been delinquent or unfaithful in any contract with the City.
