The Project includes the following Work: o General work on all roadway sections: o Traffic control o Clearing and grubbing as required within right-of-way o Temporary erosion control o Sawing asphalt o Salvaging topsoil, seeding, fertilizer/turf restoration o Pulverizing and regrading of existing asphalt pavement o Undistributed base aggregate as required o Shouldering and shoulder shaping o Asphalt paving o Undistributed geogrid and EBS as required o Placement of borrow for sideslope shaping as required o Ditching as required o Rip rap as required o All associated removals of culverts and driveway aprons as required o Replacement of storm sewer culverts with CMP and RCP and endwalls of various sizes o Resurfacing of approximately 10,700 lineal feet of roadway on Washington Road from CTH N to approximately 75 feet south of Hartzell Road intersection o Resurfacing of approximately 900 lineal feet of roadway on Hartzell Road from Washington Road to STH 59 o Resurfacing of approximately 11,200 lineal feet of roadway on Casey Road from STH 59 to CTH M o Resurfacing of approximately 470 lineal feet of roadway on W. Casey Connector Road from Casey Road to STH 59 o Bid Alternate A - Replacement of existing 5'x9' concrete box culvert and 72" CMP extensions with Contech #6 (10'-11" x 6'-4") aluminum box culvert on Casey Road (STA 22+72) o Bid Alternate B - Replacement of existing 5'x9.5' concrete box culvert with Contech #45 (19'-10" x 7'-10") aluminum box culvert on Casey Road (STA 54+27) o Bid Alternate C - Replacement of existing 2.65'x3' concrete box culvert with 34"x53" HERCP on Washington Road (STA 557+08) o Bid Alternate D - Installation of approximately 23,500 lineal feet of VRAM on longitudinal joint between surface and binder on all paved roadway sections The anticipated substantial completion date is within 45 calendar days of pulverizing the roadways for Milestone A (Washington Road and Hartzell Road) and Milestone B (Casey Road and W. Casey Connection Road) or September 11, 2026; whichever occurs first, and final completion date is September 25, 2026. Owner in an amount of 5% of Bidder's maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check, or an electronic Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. If after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages. No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. The project is funded in part by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
