The work consists of providing all labor, materials, and equipment needed to perform routine and emergency water system inspection, maintenance, and repair for sites including parks, cemeteries, and other designated locations. This includes irrigation systems, small residential style well systems, and large water systems with pump houses, storage (above and below ground), filtration, and treatment systems. Services required are diagnosing, testing, inspecting, and repairing well or circulating pumps (including submersible and vertical turbine pumps), repairing pressure, storage, filtration, piping and valve systems, chlorination/contact systems, monitoring, backup power, performing routine maintenance, installing pump systems, water quality testing and reporting, decontamination, providing 24-hour emergency response, and complying with all applicable laws and regulations, obtaining permits, and passing final inspections. Bids must be submitted electronically only, in accordance with the provided instructions, and must include all required forms. Metro may accept or reject any or all bids and may waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights.
