South Hanover Township will receive bids for the 2026 Roadway Projects, which include Contract No. 1 and Contract No. 2. Contract No. 1 work will include, but is not necessarily limited to, approximately 58,360 SY of Polymer-Modified Emulsified Asphalt, Type A, Double Application. Contract No. 2 work will include, but is not necessarily limited to, approximately 3,965 SY of milling and 2,215 Ton of bituminous material. A certified check or bid bond for 10 percent of the total bid is required, issued by a surety licensed in Pennsylvania. Bidders must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act conditions (Contract No. 2 - Paving), the Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (OSHA) conditions, Pennsylvania Act 229 of 2002, the Pennsylvania One Call Act, the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act 222 Condition, requirement of a noncollusion affidavit, non-discrimination in Employment/Contract Compliance Regulations Conditions, and the Public Works Employment Verification Act.
