Bids are requested for the "Medina County Engineering Center - Lobby & Restroom Project" in Medina County, Ohio. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Medina County Board of Commissioner's Bid Express page. The architect estimate is $658,000.00. No contract shall be awarded at a price of more than twenty percent in excess of the architect's estimate. All bids must be submitted in accordance with the contract documents, which consist of all notices, instructions to bidders, specifications and drawings, bid form, form of contract agreements, schedule of wage rates, and addenda thereto. Bids must contain the name of every person interested and be accompanied by either a bid and performance bond in the full amount of the bid as a guarantee, or a certified check drawn upon a solvent bank in the State of Ohio equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid. Bidders are required to comply with State of Ohio prevailing wage rates published for Medina County throughout the project and adhere to the rules and regulations on Equal Employment Opportunity. The Medina County Commissioners reserve the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all bids, and select the lowest, best, and most responsive bid. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the bids.
