The purpose is to solicit proposals from qualified vendors to provide an IP-based intercom and communications system for the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Center. The selected solution will replace the existing intercom system, leverage existing infrastructure where feasible, and enhance campus-wide communication, safety, and emergency notification capabilities for staff, students, and visitors. The procurement is to establish a scalable and standards-based system that supports future expansion and integration across the CTE complex, to be utilized for improving overall safety, operational efficiency, and emergency preparedness. Scope of Work Phase 1 Overview This project represents Phase 1 of a multi-phase upgrade to the CTE Center intercom system. All equipment, configurations, programming, and integrations completed under this phase shall be designed to support seamless expansion in future phases. The system implemented in Phase 1 must be fully scalable, interoperable, and compatible with additional intercom devices, zones, and facilities to be added later. Phase 1 Coverage Areas (see provided map for reference) Phase 1 shall include, but is not limited to, the following areas within the CTE complex: Buildings B, C, and D Corridors and instructional shops Back 40 computer labs and classrooms Designated outdoor areas Future phases will extend system coverage to additional areas of the complex. All infrastructure and configurations implemented during Phase 1 must be capable of direct integration with future additions without modification or replacement.
