Wexford-Missaukee ISD is soliciting proposals from qualified mechanical contractors to replace the existing Trane chiller (Model RTAA0904XN01A3D0BN) with a new Daikin Applied Model AGZ air-cooled chiller (or similar). The scope includes removal and disposal of the existing chiller; furnishing and installing a new Daikin Applied Model AGZ air-cooled chiller (or similar) with all required components and accessories; system testing, startup, and commissioning by an authorized Daikin service provider; coordination of crane work, glycol fill, and any necessary site restoration; and compliance with all local, state, and federal codes. All proposals must include materials, labor, glycol, crane work, and project cleanup. Each proposal must include a detailed project schedule with estimated lead time, installation, and startup; total project cost (itemized); product submittals/spec sheets for proposed equipment; proof of licensing, insurance, and bonding; experience with similar HVAC/chiller projects; warranty documentation; and confirmation that the proposal meets or exceeds the specified scope. Work should ideally be completed between June 15 and August 14 to avoid disruption of classroom learning. Proposals will be evaluated based on compliance with the specified chiller and scope, cost competitiveness, contractor experience and references, warranty coverage, project timeline, and completeness. WMISD reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive irregularities. The selected vendor will enter into a formal agreement. Proposal pricing must remain valid for at least 60 days. Work must be coordinated to minimize disruption to building operations.
