Ontario Tech University is accepting proposals for interior renovations to the fifth and fourth floor of the Shawenjigewining Hall at the North Oshawa located at 2000 Simcoe St. N, Oshawa, ON (40 Founders Dr). The fifth floor of Shawenjigewining Hall is currently a shelled space and will serve as a new home for several researchers from the Faculty of Health Science. Plans include six kinesiology research labs, faculty offices, meeting space, graduate student space, and an 80-seat classroom. The fourth floor is an existing space that will have areas re-configured to accommodate new and larger lab spaces. The fourth floor has active operations that will need to be maintained during the construction. Proponents are encouraged to attend a site meeting to fully inform themselves as to all existing conditions and limitations and so they may include for this in their Financial Proposal. No claims will be considered for extra work, expense or difficulties encountered due to conditions of the site which were visible upon or reasonably inferable from an examination of the site.
