Renovation of an office development in Hearne, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 950-square-foot office development.
The project is a 950 square foot office renovation that includes the addition of two new offices, a new meeting space, restroom fixture upgrades, and new interior finish upgrades. The new office will be connected to the adjacent space through a new opening that joins the two offices together. In awarding a contract, criteria that may be considered include purchase price, the reputation and quality of the vendor's goods and services, the extent to which the goods or services meet the District's needs, the vendor's past relationship with the District, performance and completion of warranty work, ability to meet schedule and insurance requirements, and reference responses. All bidders must have a completed AIA-A305, 1986, Contractor's Qualification Statement on file with the Architect a minimum of seven calendar days prior to the bid date. Proposal/Contract documents, including drawings, specifications, and scoring criteria are available at the office of the Architect, Goodwin-Lasiter, Inc. dba GLS, and can be obtained electronically. Notification of Intent to Bid must be received in order to gain access to the plans and specifications. The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to waive any informality in the proposal. Proposals may be held for up to forty-five days from the opening date for review purposes.
