Reference Number 0000415518 Work under this contract includes all necessary labor, materials and equipment required for the rehabilitation of the Playland Ice Casino. Sitework includes a re-built maintenance yard and landscaping. An exterior addition to the building will be built at the existing service yard to house electrical generators and chillers. Exterior renovations include a new marquee, facade repairs, new windows and doors and roof replacements. Interior work includes all new finishes and lighting at all spaces. Ice rinks and all associated cooling equipment are being replaced and upgraded. Work also includes replacing the mechanical, plumbing, electrical, information technology and security systems. the "Bid Bond and Consent of Surety" (as set forth in the Proposal Pages) attached to the outside of the sealed bid. Failure to submit in this manner may cause the bid to be rejected. The successful bidder, no matter the amount of its bid, will be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond with its signed contract. it is the goal of the County to use its best efforts to encourage, promote, and increase the participation of business enterprises owned and controlled by persons of color or women - Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) and Women Business Enterprise (WBE) REMINDER: All required licenses should be submitted with the Bid. The County of Westchester reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bids, or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw its bid within forty-five (45) days after the date of the bid opening. (Bid Range $44,000,000.00 to $50,000,000.00).
