Project Location: Renaud Center 2650 Tri Sports Circle O'Fallon, MO 63368 Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and permits necessary to complete the work as specified herein. Contractor will be responsible for the following: o Removal and disposal of existing exterior duct work. o Associated new duct work to complete replacement project. o Associated hangers to complete replacement project. o Duct work to be internally insulated. o Labor to complete during normal working hours. o Associated permits and/or permit fees. Bidders shall provide the following separate pricing: 1. Base Bid: Replacement of both exterior supply and return ductwork. 2. Alternate No. 1: Exterior supply ductwork replacement only. 3. Alternate No. 2: Exterior return ductwork replacement only. Pricing shall clearly identify labor and material costs associated with each alternate. o Ductwork shall be constructed of galvanized sheet steel meeting SMACNA HVAC Duct Construction Standards. o Minimum duct gauge shall comply with SMACNA requirements based on duct size and system static pressure. o As a general guideline: 22-24 gauge for main trunks 24-26 gauge for branch ducts o Contractor shall verify static pressure and airflow requirements of the existing Dectron LD-282 unit prior to fabrication. o All transverse joints and longitudinal seams shall be mechanically fastened and sealed. o Contractor shall field verify all dimensions prior to fabrication. o Duct work shall be internally insulated. o Internal insulation shall be: o Minimum 1" thick duct liner (or greater if required by code) o Moisture-resistant type suitable for high-humidity natatorium environments o Rated for use in air handling systems o Insulation edges shall be sealed to prevent air erosion or moisture intrusion. o Adhesives, pins, and fasteners shall be corrosion resistant. o Installation methods shall prevent vapor migration and condensation damage
