Site work and paving for a road / highway in Sparks, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Fiscal Year 2021 and 2022 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG), leveling and resurfacing improvements to Washington Street. Furnish all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of the LMIG leveling and resurfacing improvements to Washington Street, City of Sparks, Georgia. All work must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days. Bids must include a Bid Bond of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid. The successful Bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds, each equal to 100 percent of the contract amount. All materials, workmanship, and testing must meet Georgia Department of Transportation Specifications. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids, waive informalities, and accept any Bid in its best interest. The Owner may add or delete from the Contract once awarded. Pre-qualification requirements: The Contractor must be a current “Prequalified Contractor” with the Georgia Department of Transportation, Office of Contract Administration or approved in writing prior to bid opening by the City of Sparks. A copy of the Contractor’s “Notice of Contractor Qualification” or City of Sparks approval letter must be submitted with the bid. All Bidders must receive the bid package from the Engineer to be considered certified. Bids from non-certified Bidders will not be considered.  .
