A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The purpose is to obtain 24/7 remote monitoring services for an existing elevator video and communication system at Creedmoor Addiction Treatment Center. The contractor shall provide continuous monitoring of the live elevator cab video feed and integrated two-way communication, including text-based communication where applicable. Services include monitoring of video and communication data transmitted via secure network or cellular connection, responding in accordance with elevator safety and accessibility requirements, and following industry standard escalation and notification procedures for monitored elevator systems. The contractor will connect to an existing Garaventa/Elvoron-installed monitoring system, with all hardware provided and maintained by OASAS or its elevator contractor. The contractor is not required to install, modify, program, or physically access any elevator equipment. Responsibilities include staffing and operating a 24/7 monitoring service, maintaining secure system access, documenting activities and incidents, and complying with all safety, privacy, and security requirements for monitored video systems. The work also must support compliance with New York State Department of Labor Elevator Safety Regulations, ASME A17.1 / CSA B44 Safety Code for Elevators and Escalators, NFPA 70, ADA effective communication requirements, and all applicable local authority requirements.
