The contractor shall provide architect-engineer services to support navigation, ecosystem restoration, coastal and inland storm damage reduction, and flood risk management projects through planning, studies, analysis, modeling, surveys, investigations, design, and construction-phase services. Required capabilities include design and evaluation of levees, floodwalls, pump stations, closure structures, interior drainage systems, and sluice gates; non-structural flood risk management measures such as structure elevation, relocation, removal, and floodproofing; coastal system designs including dunes, groins, seawalls, inlet and shoreline restoration, and deployment and servicing of wave gages and related instrumentation; ecosystem restoration involving tidal and freshwater wetland design, bio-benchmarking data collection, EPW analysis, establishment of vegetation design elevations, and plant species selection; and navigation-related work including channel deepening or improvements, blasting, subsurface and geotechnical investigations, underwater drilling, remote sensing, and geophysical surveys. Firms must demonstrate competence, qualifications, and recent relevant experience performing multiple similar task orders concurrently to be considered for future negotiation. Location: New York District primary area of responsibility, serving additional U.S. Army Corps of Engineers locations within the North Atlantic Division boundaries.
