Site work and paving for a road / highway in Rockford, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Coosa County is taking sealed bids for labor, equipment, materials, and any incidentals required to complete the work required for resurfacing and striping on various roads for the county. The work includes: resurfacing on Firehouse Road from US-280 to CR-50 (Site 1), striping on CR-50 from US-280 to US-280 (Site 2), resurfacing on Church Street from US-280 to CR-50 (Site 3), resurfacing on Old School Road from Church Street to CR-50 (Site 4), and resurfacing on Gin House Road from Church Street to Firehouse Road (Site 5). The bid is intended to comply with the Rebuild Alabama Act, No. 2019-2, and Alabama Code Title 39, the Alabama Public Works Law. Bidders must comply with the provisions of these acts and Title 39, regardless of whether the requirements are explicitly detailed in the bid proposal. Only bids from contractors or material suppliers listed on the Alabama Department of Transportation (ALDOT) approved list of contractors and material suppliers will be accepted. All bids must be marked with the word "BID" on the outside of the bid package along with the Bid Proposal for the project numbers, the bid date, and the Alabama General Contractor's License Number. The contractor must meet all ALDOT Bonding and Licensing requirements as well as all applicable laws, ordinances, and codes of the U.S. Government, the State of Alabama, any relevant municipality, and Coosa County, including compliance with the Beason-Hammond Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act (Immigration Act). The county reserves the right to accept or reject all bids or any portion thereof.
