Purgatory Creek improvements from Johnson Avenue to Wonder World Drive (Continuation of project 679). The project mitigates flood risk through channel modifications and ROW acquisition. The project also includes trails and pedestrian lighting, activating green space that was previously inaccessible to the public. Other possible funding sources (FEMA, TxDOT, etc.) are being pursued. The project is included in the City's 2026-2035 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of March 09, 2026, further details have not yet been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
