Renovation of a mixed-use development in Leeds, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and stadium.
Sealed proposals from qualified general contractors will be received for the football stadium renovation and new synthetic turf for baseball and softball fields for Leeds City Schools. Bids must be on forms furnished by the architect. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Leeds City Board of Education in an amount not less than five percent of the proposal, but not more than $10,000. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance are required at contract signing. Contractors must demonstrate proper licensing and will be placed on an official bidders list upon application. Only those on the official list and who have obtained documents as specified will be issued addenda and other proposal information. Bids from those not on the official list may not be accepted or opened. All proposals must display the contractor's license number on the envelope. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and waive technical errors in the best interest of the owner.
