As of May 12, 2026 project was awarded to Master Utility Division Inc, awarded amount is $$3,974,537.02 The overall scope of work includes the installation of new watermains to replace existing watermain infrastructure on The Queensway South from Joe Dales Drive to Garrett Styles Drive, within the Town of Georgina. The work shall include, but is not limited to: a new transmission watermain from Joe Dales Drive to immediately north of Garrett Styles Drive within the westmost travelled lanes, including three new watermain valve chambers and associated appurtenances; a new distribution watermain network from Joe Dales Drive to Miami Drive within the westmost travelled lanes and reconnection of local water services, fire hydrants, and connections to existing watermains on the side streets; testing and commissioning of the new watermains; decommissioning of the existing watermains and valve chambers on The Queensway South along this section; restoration of all disturbed areas, including roadway granulars, asphalt, concrete curb, concrete sidewalk, and boulevard areas to existing condition or better.
