This project requires professional Architect-Engineer services to provide schematics, design development, construction documents, technical specifications, construction period services, site visits, cost estimates, as-built documentation, and all related design support for the replacement and reconfiguration of the primary generator. Work includes site investigation, assessment, and preparation of a complete construction document package for generator replacement at a medical facility. Services include architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, interior design, acoustical, environmental, and fire protection engineering disciplines. Requirements include specialized experience with inpatient medical care facilities, electrical distribution and power generation equipment for healthcare environments, extensive site and load surveys, and post-construction award services such as shop-drawing review, as-built drawings, quality assurance plan preparation, construction inspection, and development of operating and maintenance manuals. The A/E shall provide construction period services including professional field inspections, response to requests for information, review of construction submittals, and development of statements of work and cost estimates for contract changes. The contractor must deliver 100% bid-ready design documents within 250 calendar days from Notice to Proceed.
