Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Toms River, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The work includes Little League Baseball Field Improvements, which consists of removing and replacing approximately 375 linear feet of 4' high chain link fence, installing approximately 350 linear feet of 6' high chain link fence, installing six fence gates, and removing the existing single tunnel batting cage and constructing a new double tunnel batting cage. This includes all necessary disposal, labor, materials, and equipment. Each proposal must use the forms included in the contract documents and be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the bidder's name, address, and project name. The bid must be complete, filled in ink, and incomplete or improperly submitted bids may be considered informal. Bid documents can be reviewed online or obtained for a fee. Each bid must include a bid bond or certified check for 10% of the total bid, not to exceed $20,000, made payable to the Borough of South Toms River. All bidders must comply with affirmative action and equal opportunity requirements, the Prevailing Wage Act, and submit a statement of stockholders for corporations or partnerships. The Borough reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer and shall be postmarked at least ten (10) days before the established date for Bid opening. Question shall be submitted before 10th Mar 2026.
