Sealed bids are invited for the construction work of Molino Park Elementary School HVAC Improvements. Digital plans and specifications are available from the architect's office. A complete list of subcontractors for the project must be submitted within twenty-four hours after the bid date and time to the Office of Facilities Planning. Only bids from Pre-qualified Contractors will be accepted. The owner reserves the right to waive formalities and reject any or all bids. Bid award recommendations are pending subject to final review and verification of required documents. Pre-qualification requirements: Only pre-qualified contractors may submit bids. The work consists of ( if phased construction list by phase): Phase 1: Building 1,2,3,4 (summer) Phase 2: Building 5,6,7 (during school) - Coordinate with director of school to avoid conflict with classroom with students and required relocation of stu dent to other areas of the facility. Major systems include: ( modify as appropriate) Structural: Concrete slabs at mechanical yard and sides and infilling steel studs of existing abandoned louver openings. Architectural: Removal and infill of existing louver openings after removal of HVAC system, new chain-link fencing and concrete slab for courtyard equipment. HVAC: New split-system units for each classroom, new refrigerant lines and drainage lines. In addition new controls, cleaning and prepping of OAU. Plumbing: Piping for new drains and HVAC refrigerant lines Electrical: Electrical modification for HVAC replacements and new lighting at each electrical and mechanical rooms.
