Sealed Bid Proposals are requested for the construction of the Pi Kappa Alpha Chiller Replacement, UA Project #941-26-4236. Bids are to be submitted to Construction Administration at The University of Alabama, at the designated location. General Contractors and Prime HVAC are required to prequalify prior to bidding or performing work. Prequalification submissions must be received by the specified time; late submittals will not be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid conference for General Contractors is required at the designated time and location. Drawings and specifications are available for examination at specified locations starting on the indicated date. Instructions for obtaining plans, specifications, and contract documents are provided in the notice. Pre-qualification requirements: General Contractors and Prime HVAC must prequalify prior to bidding or performing work. Information on the prequalification process is available online at UAbidinfo.ua.edu; submissions must be received by the specified deadline. The current UA Master List applies only to General Contractors. UA no longer maintains a Subcontractor Master List. While UA may prequalify subcontractor trades at times, such prequalification is not ongoing or generally applicable at this time. Prequalification is mandatory for participation in the bidding process for this project. Late submittals will not be accepted for prequalification.
