Renovation of a military facility in Tenkiller, Oklahoma. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Replace existing 15kV switchgear and station service systems, including removal of three existing 15kV switchgear lineups, associated breakers, existing station service transformer, 480V switchgear, 15kV cabling, potheads, and asbestos cable trays. Work includes installation of new 15kV cables, potheads, cable trays, and front-accessible double-ended 480V switchgear with feeder breakers, along with new 15kV switchgear equipped with vacuum circuit breakers and redundant 500 kVA 13.8kV/480V station service transformers with high-resistance grounding. Additional work includes reconfiguration of the diesel generator system, installation of new control and annunciation wiring, modifications to protective relay settings, installation of new protection relays, automatic transfer functionality for 480V switchgear, arc flash mitigation switches, and replacement and relocation of the lighting transformer to ensure reliable and compliant electrical system operation. The estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000.
