Renovation of a military facility in Chicago, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 30,310-square-foot, three-story above grade military facility.
Providing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to build out the second floor to enhance National Park Service (NPS) capabilities for education and community outreach programs, along with additional office space. The third floor will be designed for storage and potential partner leasing. Work includes installation of an elevator within an existing white box shaft to serve all three levels, expansion of HVAC systems across all levels, and construction of restrooms to support assembly, storage, and business occupancies. Interior finishes include flooring, acoustical ceilings, painting, doors, audiovisual systems, computer network wiring, lighting, electrical systems, fire alarm systems, and fire sprinkler modifications. Location: Pullman National Historic Park, Chicago, Illinois. PROJECT MAGNITUDE: Between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
